Happy Thanksgiving!

We are celebrating our Thanksgiving at my parents' place on Lookout Mountain, and I am glad that the LMJC (where my parents live) is a bit safer than it was last year.

I'm also thankful that Tonya Craft is free, that Eric Echols no longer faces false charges, and that Tonya has some normalcy with her family.

I also am thankful that the monster, Chris Arnt, has seen his political ambitions damaged to the point where I doubt he could be elected dogcatcher.

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Prof Anderson: my very best wishes to you and your family for a very Happy Thanksgiving!

The Times Free Press posted a link to the quash order relative to the charges against Eric Echols.

That was indeed very good news this week!

Have a great time with your parents!

I read the order. The state of Georgia admitted that the indictment was defective. Alan Norton was/is the ADA.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family Dr. Anderson, you and your blog is one small but important thing I have to be thankful for today. I'm sure many of your readers feel the same way. Keep up the good work.

Happy thanksgiving everyone. I hope and pray that next year will be a better thanksgiving and that I can celebrate it again with my husband and 4 children, because if it's up to lmjc my children will be without a daddy! I do thank god for tonyas good outcome and Eric Echols false indictment.

In the past year I have read all the blogs posted on this site. I never made a comment due to the legal issues I was facing. Now that the demurrer was granted some of my discontent has been released. Yes, I do know that the DA can go back and re-indict but as of now its over.

NO PERSON! should be arrested and indicted for doing their job and not breaking the law. NO PERSON! should be arrested and indicted without the police conducting a proper investigation. I can go on but now is not the time.

This is however the time to give thanks. To Bill and all of you that have supported me during this time, I give you my thanks and most importantly I give thanks to God. The past year has been hell dealing with Catoosa County, but our prayers were heard.

Everyone please have a Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving.

Eric

It is great to hear from you, Eric, and we can rejoice that you no longer face these bogus criminal charges. You have been on the front lines of this evil, and you can see firsthand what happens when prosecutors are permitted to be a law unto themselves.

Just now catching up, I too am thankful for all you have done with you blog and for opening eyes in Catoosa County!! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, as I hope Tonya did too. Eric, I am sure your Thanksgiving was a good one, so glad that is behind you!!

Maria, hoping and praying justice will be done for your husband.

On a side note, we did not have my grandchildren for Thanksgiving. In Sept. my son's x-wife's lawyer presented him with an agreement in court and he agreed. She has broken the agreement, so back to square one.

Eric, what a blessing it is to hear from you! Thanks be to God for all he has done for you. You, along with Tonya, have shown many of us how to deal with fire without much water to put it out. Thank you for your strength & courage against the LMJC. I will continue to pray for you & that this never happens again. God Bless you & your family.

Maria, I have also been praying for you & your family and will continue. Please keep us posted & hopefully Bill will be able to help keep the pressure going. I know this is hard for you right now, but I have faith that you are a very strong woman.

Trish, sorry you are back to square one with your situation. I will never understand how people don't look out for the best interest of children. Whether they are yours or someone elses', children, their growth & their outcome is up to all of us. I will continue praying for you also.

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend & made the best out of whatever their situation was.

Blessings to all!

You are welcome! And know this, as sad as it is, these kids will someday know the truth & realize what was stolen from them (time with their father & you as the grandparent). Yes, it will be too late to make up for missed time, but that's when you take the time you will then get to share with them & make it that much more valuable. We all have to right the wrongs at some point in life, but just never give up hope or fighting. As I said, they will know someday. The power of prayer is remarkable. Sometimes the prayers are answered later than we had hoped, but once they are, you go wild with it!!! :-)
