Len Gregor: "The Man"

Here is a post that Len Gregor wrote to someone inquiring about law school. The word in bold is the way he put it:

If you decide to continue in criminal justice, I'd be happy to talk with you and help you in any way I can, but it is a tough job market, even for the man. Budgets have been slashed at all levels, state and local. Entry level for law enforcement usually means a couple or more years working in a local jail - not too glamorous. A four year degree and internships can get you a gig with the Federals - a pretty good gig with the alphabet police or other agencies. Going to law school was one of the best choices I ever made. I love being a prosecutor. I love being the man. It was worth the time, effort, and money.

Last bit of unsolicited free advice - do something that you have a passion for, don't settle for less if at all possible. Sounds to me like you should be in the automotive field in some capacity.
