Craft Trial Jury Selection is Underway: Judge Bans Media from Courtroom

Lest anyone think that Judge Brian House wants to change his image as Catoosa County's rendition of Roland Friesler, think again. Today, at the beginning of jury selection, he banned the media from the courtroom, according to The Chattanoogan.

This is most interesting. If anything, most of the local media has been terrible, serving mostly as a PR device for House and prosecutor Chris Arnt, yet even Roland Friesler II is afraid of having even a worshipful bunch of reporters watching what he is doing. Of course, I suspect that the media will do what the media always does: bend over and take it.

On another note, I was the guest of Jeff Styles today on WGOW-FM, and found out even more about the behavior of Chris Arnt. Not only did he attack the Craft defense on his Facebook page, but he also took an online poll for people to vote guilt or innocence. And this guy still is on the case?!?

As they say on late-night TV, "Wait! There's more!" Mr. Styles told me that Arnt also declared that the very fact that Craft is loudly claiming innocence is PROOF that she is guilty. I'm sorry, pal. It does not work like this.

Can there be any more doubt that House and Arnt are running a railroad, an illegal railroad? Where does the law permit this kind of railroading? If the legal system in Catoosa County and the State of Georgia is going to operate according to the rules of the Gestapo, then, by all means the people in charge need to come clean and be honest as to what they are doing.

I will say again that this "trial" is a travesty, and if House and Arnt continue to pull these stunts, the news of this farce is going to get out to the rest of the country, and I guarantee you that Brian House cannot control that media the way he believes he can control the media in the Chattanooga area.

The sad part is, House runs around patting himself on the back talking about how great a Christian and Church member he is...Seems like he is more of a pharisee if you ask me.

Where does he go to church? Does anyone know? (No, I am not planning a protest there or anything like that. I'm just curious. Maybe his church does not like to read the Old Testament, or maybe the preacher there thinks that Pontius Pilate was a great judge.)

Keeps getting better...
A Catoosa County judge is banning the news media from portions of the trial of former Walker County schoolteacher Tonya Craft.

Judge Brian House, who had earlier placed a gag order in effect in the case on Monday morning issued an order that media were to be excluded from the courtroom during the jury selection. He also indicated that the courtroom would be cleared when young witnesses take the stand to testify about alleged molestation by the former kindergarten teacher.

I think justice would be best served if House cleared himself and Arnt out of the courtroom and out of the county.

Exhibit 1052 proving that "Christian" and "church member" not only are NOT synonymous, but, in today's Amerika, are usually diametric opposites of each other.
