Not Guilty!!! No, the "System" Did Not Work, Not Yet!

[Update, Tuesday 7:20 PM]: I have found from a hidden camera the meeting between Len Gregor, Chris Arnt, Brian House, and others on the Nightmare Team. Here is Gregor addressing the troops following the verdict:

As you can see, he was quite inspirational!!

[End Update]

What a time for my Internet to go out, but not before I read "Not Guilty" on all counts. ALL COUNTS.

My wife prayed that not only would Tonya Craft be exonerated, but that the jurors would be angry, and her prayers were answered on both counts. Indeed, I am glad that the jury saw through the lies, the bullying, and outright fabrication of "evidence," along with the utter unfairness of how "judge" Brian House ran his courtroom.

I need to say one thing, however, is that while the jurors did their job, and did it magnificently, the "system" DID NOT WORK. Had the "system" worked, there would have been no charges, no trial, and no spending of everything Tonya and her family had. If the "system" had worked, Len Gregor would not have been allowed to stand before a jury and tell them that four highly-respected medical and psychological figures were "whores of the court" and people who told "lies for money."

Had the "system" worked, these children would not have been badgered by "therapists" who had no credibility into fabricating wild stories of abuse. Had the "system" worked, Len Gregor and Chris Arnt would not have been able to keep MOUNTAINS of exculpatory evidence from reaching the jury.

(I will be having a future post on the evidence that House refused to let the jury see. Trust me when I say that when you see it, you will understand why I believe that the only real justice would be for House, Arnt, and Gregor never to be permitted to practice law again. Oh, I forgot. They DON'T practice law. They make it up as they go along.)

This "trial" was a farce, a sham, and a blot on the Lookout Mountain Judicial District. The only saving grace was Tonya and her brave attorneys, all of whom took abuse I never have seen allowed before in any courtroom, as well as the jury itself, which saw through the bullying and the lies.

It will take a day or so to gather all of my thoughts. However, I will say that given the dishonest conduct I saw from the associates of the Children's Advocacy Centers, I suspect that this organization is going to need a very successful fundraiser Friday, given the lawsuits that are going to come down upon it.

And there is more work to do. Len Gregor and Chris Arnt have managed to garner wrongful convictions against others for the same false offenses, people who did not have the resources and the legal help to defend themselves against these execrable bullies. I intend to investigate and to write on this in the future.

For now, we celebrate an island of decency in what has been a sea of outright evil. But on this day, Tonya Craft was exonerated by a jury of her peers. I thank God for that.

I too thank God for that. I am from Ringgold, and believe it or not, have never been so embarrassed to say that. I am thankful that the jury didn't play into their web of deception and spoke their truth, the real truth. I now pray for Tonya, her family, her friends, her children... And for the little girls who where used by the system of adults that manipulated them. No one will ever be the same.

I can't wait to read your future post's. I suspect and you have alluded to it in previous posts, you have information that you were unable to share on your blog regarding the prosecution and judge House.

Truth for Tonya has been achieved, truth regarding the wrong doing of these 3 men is on the way.

Hmmm wonder why the three jackasses didn't want to go on record with a quote today? They had to run off with their sorry tails tucked between their legs. Praise God for Tonya, you could just see her finally be able to take a breath today. God Bless you sweetie!!!
Now everyone needs to focus on getting those dumb asses thrown out of office and as soon as possible.

I thank God for the verdicts, and I thank God for William Anderson. We need people who are not afraid to have a voice to prevent this from happening again.

Thank you Mr Anderson for all of your thoughtful and intelligent insights on this horrible ordeal.
I have posted many times on my facebook page that I knew Tonya Craft was innocent of all the charges. Now the healing begins.
I pray she can get FULL custody of her kids. I pray that justice will be done to the "kangaroo court" and also to the families who KNEW they were lying and using their kids to try to ruin her. Again, thank you for caring!

Mr. Anderson,
What is next for Tonya? Although I realize this is a huge VICTORY for her, what other obsticales will she now face?
How will she get her kids back? Is there a possibility of an emergency custody hearing?
This poor lady deserves to get her kids back as soon as possible.
Also, can civil charges be brought against her? Excuse my ignorance - I do know the first thing about law and your blog is what has sparked my interest.
I hope that the only court Mrs. Craft sees from here on out - is one with her on the side of the Plantiff!!
Thank you for your great work on this case. I tell everyone I know of your blog and advise them to read it. You are gaining support with each and every look!

Yes, Thank GOD for having the truth come out and thank you Mr. Anderson (and others like you) that search for real truth and justice. I pray that this is NOT over for the prosecution and "judge". I hope they get EXACTLY what they deserve.

Thank, God, for the jury and the not guilty verdicts. I live in N.C. and am not able to catch a lot of the local news stories and scour the internet to keep up with this trial. Thank you, Mr. Anderson, for your insightful blog and for shining the light on the dirty, dark corner of this community. Please keep up your research and delivery of information so that we will all be able to see what transpires with Ms. Craft and this terrible injustice done to her. I pray that she can now be reunited for visits with her daughter until such time as the court is able to restore her custody rights to her children - and I pray that will not be too long into the future. Surely they won't drag their feet on allowing her to have the parental rights that she should never have been stripped of. Keep us up to date and informed - I look forward to reading all the evidence the bumbling idiots kept from the jury!!

I am so glad that my confidence in my fellow Catoosa Countians was not misplaced. Thank you so much for seeing past the rhetoric and coming to a just conclusion. I hope and pray that somehow Mrs. Craft can reclaim her life and rebuild her relationships with her children. I am counting the months until I can cast a vote for a new judge to take House's seat.

The tragedy here is those children, what a shame they were put thru this for what??? a show by the HAG. I to have been falsely accused just cant pay for that kind defense. Its wrong that those in charge go down this road on hearsay alone. SHAME SHAME on them. GOD BLESS

Bill,

I was gone for about an hour, first time in close to 5 weeks, and the verdict comes while I'm away.

Probably better than loss of access to be online. I hope your computer survived that experience!

This will lift that barrier from the media reports, no more worries about them choosing the wrong side in a child related case.

Yes, it is a wonderful day for Tonya Craft, and for all of us who supported her in whatever method we could.

But, we cannot forget those unnamed Tonya's who as we speak are wasting their lives away in Georgia prison due to the corruption of the LMJC, or the Tonya's yet to come who face the same. If you live here, don't kid yourself, it could be you.

The work for all good people who have the fortitude to take a stand and say NO MORE does not end now, it is only beginning. Expanding on what I read earlier today and which struck me profoundly since I hadn't really thought of it in that way before, millions throughout our nation's history have not suffered and died in America's wars, marched for their rights in the face of assured brutality, or fought the fight whatever it may be for the oppressed did not make those sacrifices for what was happening in 2010 in Ringgold, Georgia. In fact, just the opposite.

Even though the eventual outcome was what we wanted, and Tonya is legally an innocent woman tonight, we must not allow it to stop here. By doing so, we sully the memory and cheapen the sacrifices of all good people who have come before us, and in that, disgrace ourselves.

I suspect the custody will come back to Marie Williams' courtroom, and she is not a happy camper right now, given that Joal and company gave her the finger. Judges don't like to have someone give them the one-finger salute.

I'm so happy for Tonya today! Just wanted to say thank you for writing such a wonderful blog and keeping us all informed with everything going on in this case. I'm now a fan of yours and look forward to reading more from you in the future.

Tonya now faces several legal fights. The fight to get her children back. This one will allow ALL the evidence the prosecutors blocked to be brought in. Including interviews where her daughter openly states her father was telling her what to say "I don't remember but my father says she did".

The next, I hope she files suit against Lamb, Mcdonald and Henke. I hope she gets her half million plus back.

Whether or not she decides to go after the Prosecutors is another issue. They are protected fairly well but, at the very least the facebook posting falls outside of that protection.

The Pros do not DARE to comment outside of court. Once they do, anything they say is not protected by immunity.

She has a HUGE long road. Don't stop now folks, there is an incredible amount of work to do.

Anonymous said...

Thank god Tonya Craft was found not guilty! I hope that House, Gregor, and Arndt are disbarred.

When this started Mr. Anderson was flatly predicting a guilty verdict because he claims, "juries always believe prosecutors." In his effort to put an end to the above threesome, he will do better by laying out the facts without the over-the-top hyperbole.

The best course is to evaluate each case on its own merits. This is what Dr. Aldridge does. Mr. Anderson admits that she testifies for the prosecution most of the time. Does he think she was being dishonest when a prosecution witness?

Bill,

Just a note of appreciation for your tireless work on this case. I hope you can take a few days and let it all sink in. It's a wonderful feeling to witness a case where the bullies didn't prevail.

My husband and I were having an early supper at a Chattanooga restaurant -- there was a TV on WRCB Channel 3 reporting the coverage live. When the verdict was announced, everyone broke into applause. Patrons, waitresses, cooks peeking out from the kitchen -- all giving thumbs up and high fives.

Since this trial began I haven't spoken to a single person who thought Tonya was guilty. This entire fiasco was a waste of time and money, and it smelled bad from day one.

Congratulations, Tonya.

Also, I read on twitter that Tonya and defense will be on WRCB at 11pm.

Mr Anderson I thank you. You are so right that the legal system is still broke here. There are only three reasons she won. You bringing the public on her side, and the fact that her parents had the resources to fight this. I know for a fact the legal cost for her was more than twice what was reported. Last with Gods help. This battle is just beginning. There will be over a hundred law suits filed soon. And she has tonight left to start legally to get custody of her kids back. I just hope this legal team remains with. It will have to be your effort that helps bring down the LMJC

Mr. Anderson - You mentioned that the Jurors were angry? Was that based on an interview you saw or directly from a source or just from your intuition about thier reaction? I am really curious to hear how the jury debrief went when the attornys interview them on why and how they concluded the way they did.

Today is a good day for Justice!

@Kaye

That is awesome!! They sure didn't waste any time getting down to business! I heard after their 11pm interview they will be going to NY for a series of TV programs. I hope they don't hold back about what went down with the persecution. I wonder if they will advocate for a change in law about the rules in child interviewing. I've heard some states only allow the first interview and under strict guidelines.

Johnny said...

WOW, there is so much to say. It's like a dam bursting forth and I just can't get it all said fast enough. Yeah, not guilty on all 22 counts and I hear it was 100% for the jurors. They are heros. It was funny watching the verdicts being read. The cop person sitting next to the judge kept making little faces. At on point he raised his eyebrows like in disbelief. But he couldn't keep his tongue still in his mouth. Must have been tasting something BITTER. And as Tonya turned to leave the red-haired coplady wouldn't let her go. Must be an order in who left when. But then to stand there with her hand on her back and pet her like she even cared. If this coplady cared she would quit working for the catoosa county cops. But then the height of all insults was for Tonya to be led out of court by that Chris Lyons. He is buddy buddy with all the players in this game of "TOO CATCH A MOLESTER AND GET PAID BY THE MOLESTER". Not a fun game I don't believe.

One of the Channel 3 reporters said that one of Tonya's supporters said "the system worked". While I understand what she meant, and Thank God it did, I don't think the system REALLY worked. If it had Tonya wouldn't have gone thru all this crap for the past 2 years. It would have been stopped way back when. I hope all the players are proud of thenselves. Catoosa County citizens know who the "players" were and I believe that will be watching them. I would love to know how much of the taxpayers money was wasted on this case. I would love to know where and what Buzz Franklin thinks about his two "boys". I would love to know what the big boys in Atlanta think about the "good ole boy system" that Catoosa County has been using for many years.

Now Mr. The Man, are you going to bring charges against the parents of these three kids for the abuse they put their daughters through? Are you going to bring charges against the Henke man for what he has done to Tonya's kids to turn them against their mother. Henke's wife needs to be charged also. Afterall, didn't she take a shower with a child that wasn't her own? And at the time did she have Tonya's permission to shower with her child?

See, I said there was so much I had to say that it was just busting forth. Sorry I ramble. There now needs to be a class action suit against The Man, Mr. Facebook and the house judge. They blew it. Who else did that railroad through with a conviction?

I have no idea how much credence to give to any "federal" investigation, given that these prosecutors have been allies with them in the "drug war," among other things.

Still, if anyone wants a list of charges to investigate, I can give them some. This was a crooked trial, my friends, and these people conspired (yes, the "C" word, in the legal sense) to deprive Tonya Craft of her civil rights to a fair trial.

When you find out the things that went on behind the scenes, you will be astounded and very, very angry. Trust me on that.

I have said all along that this was not a case involving overzealous prosecutors. I can take those guys, even if I disagree with them.

No, these people were and are DIRTY. It is time that they understood that people of their ilk have no business in a court of law trying to railroad innocent people into prison.

I am reminded of the story of Job in the Bible. He had everything he owned taken from him, he had his family taken from him, he himself was afflicted with the worst kind of illnesses known to man, yet he maintained his faith, and was rewarded for it 100 fold in the end. Sitting there with the patience of JOB, Tonya, let the rewards of your return to life begin. I hope she stays the course for law school. I can't imagine any law school not granting her immediate entry into their program. She has been through the fire, and stood firm. Thank you God for this lesson, and for blessing Tonya with a not guilty verdict. Continue to bless her in accordance to your will.

I must say a couple of things here. I have no connection with Ms Craft or anyone involved in this case. The only relative I have who has ever lived in the area was there because her husband taught at a local college, and moved away years ago. I doubt she even heard of this case. So, why was I so nervous when the verdict was read? Why did I have such a sense of dread when the judge was handed the verdict? It was because of something Eli Wiesel said (paraphrasing): Wherever this is unjustice, wherever people are being persecuted, wherever reason and truth is subordinate to fear and corruption, that place, that place must be made to be the center of the universe. This case was more than about one person, more than about molestation, more than about a whole county. This was a case where an entire system had gone askew and had draged into question many fundimental beliefs we hold as Americans. The inuendo and faulty logic that led the prosecutors to try to link child molestation to sexual orientation, to various lifestyles, to very ordinary behavior; the use of character assassination on a grand scale (even OJ's Dream Team didn't character assassinate as much as these guys did); the blatant existence of inproprieties on the parts of the judge; the hack-job of an investigation done by incompetent and over-rated "experts;" the use of theatrical tactics by the prosecutors that would make even Jack McCoy queezy; all of this made not just me but all Americans a part of this case.

End Part 1

Lame said...

Part 2

Despite a not guilty verdict, justice was not served here today. I am not saying there is still a chance she did it. She was acquitted, she didn't do it. Yet, EVEN IF she had done everything those little girls said she did, the investigation and the prosecution of this 'crime' was so horribly botched, that now that double jeopardy is attached, even if suddenly something turned up to prove her guilty, she cannot be re-tried. The prosecution had their chance to put a potential child molester away for good, and they became so single-minded in obtaining a guilty verdict that they lost sight of every reason why they are in the positions they are in--to protect the innocent and serve justice. Tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars of tax payer money has been wasted in a time when the government is unable to raise enough money to pay for essential services. Private citizens from both sides of this case have spent fortunes defending themselves. The reputations of several of the nation's leading experts on child molestation were called into question (not damaged, but questioned, something that could be used against them if they choose to testify in Georgia in the future). Families have been ripped apart. Friendships broken. And a community made to be at odds with one another. And all for what? There are no winners here, only losers. Justice did not win. Truth did not win. Tonya did not win. The Three Stooges did not win. I guess the only winners here, as channel 9 has pointed out, are the coffee shops who got a temporary surge in business. But now that it's over, that business will evaporate, so in the long run the didn't really win. The television commentators who made themselves to be idiots didn't win, with exception of two very good reporters for the local NBC affilliate--I'm thinking that if I have a daughter I'd name her Mylidia, that's just such a pretty-sounding name. So, no there are no winners, least of all three little girls who have now lost all credibility they might have had in the eyes of their friends and others. Suppose one of them is really molested next year. Who is goint to believe her now? I really feel bad for them. Of all the people, they are the ones who lost the most. They are eight and nine years old, and they now have the rest of their lives to live as "those three girls who falsly accused that woman of molesting them." The one good spot in all of this is that there were enough members of the community who saw this whole thing for what it was and stood firm.

You're right, Trion is no better. In fact, talking here at home we've drawn the parallels many times as to how this just as well could have been Trion as it was Chickamauga, many of the same factors at play. When good but complacent people allow certain people who to think they run a small town and that there is one system for them, and then one for everyone else, this is what you get. It's an easy fix though, stand up and be counted for the truth, and it will set you free.

I live in the North Georgia area and the whole LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN JUDICIAL SYSTEM is not right, for too many years to count the system in this area has not searched for justice but rather for convictions. I am thankful that the jurors saw the truth.

Lovin' me some AJC on Brian House, I'm stunned he even took their call. I had contacted them several times, but understand that the trial was in the Chattanooga media market so they likely wouldn't get involved until the fallout with statewide implications started to come. Brian House is toast, say goodbye Bri. Mr. Anderson's Animal House reference it is a good one, but he got the wrong fraternity. House reminds me of Omega's Greg Marmalard every time I see him.

Also lovin' me some D-lo. The fact that he is already publicly calling this for what it was tells me he's not just blowing smoke. I'm guessing D-lo is not a guy you want pissed at you. Poor HAG, they just can't figure out that being masters of the universe in LMJC doesn't mean you can run with the big dogs.

Finally, our friend Tim Dirty Deal. Did you not think you would be the fall guy? Did you really think House, Gregor, or Arnt were going protect you like one of their own? All those hours at the academy sweating your ass off doing PT, all that classroom stuff you had to struggle through (not like you actually learned anything anyway though)just to get to the little bit of fun part of like shooting guns, wrasslin' with other guys, and getting to squall the tires during EVOC, all that is soon to be gone, kiss that POST certification goodbye.

While I am thanking God for answered prayers, there are still innocent victims we must keep praying for. Tonya, her family and the children. These childrens hearts and minds are still so fragile and confused. It will take a long time for this to settle in their little minds. And this damage will follow them the rest of their lives. I hope Tonya is reunited with her children very soon to start their healing process and can redevelop their bond as mother and child. My heart goes out to Tonya for having been away from her daughter for so long. God will bring her back to you Tonya, God is Good. Believe in tomorrow, and let faith guide you through today.

You really are a complete moron and have no idea of what evidence was or was not allowed. You were not even there for any of the trial and reported numerous wrong "facts" throughout this whole trial. You quoted so much law that had nothing to do with the actual case, or if it did it did not apply. You are a disgrace as well as WRCB. At least the other stations got most of it right, including the national media. I just want to know who is bank rolling your ingornant ramblings?

While we revel in the fact that an innocent person, charged with a such a hideous crime, has been vindicated. There is a term that the good people of Catoosa county and the LMJC as a whole should get to know.

Amirault Hearing

One of the more famous cases of someone falsely accused of sexual child abuse was that of Gerald Amirault. You can read about it here.

The details of this case are strikingly similar, to what you just experienced with Tonya's trial (although there is probably more blatant, arrogant misconduct by the prosecution team here).

I know many of you are asking what can be done to stop a tragedy like this BEFORE it gets to trial. And that is an Amirault Hearing.

Most of Catoosa county is solidly behind this verdict. As Dr. Anderson mentions here, "The system did not work." The Tonya Craft case should have never made it to this point.

And that is what Amirault Hearings are all about.

I'm 100% certain that Dr. Anderson will be posting about this soon.

dmk said...

Ahhhh, the trolls are out tonight I see. Guess that party this evening kinda wrapped up a little earlier than expected, didn't it? What happened, run out of raspberry vodkas? Better get back under the bridge, I think I heard open season on trolls started a little after 5 pm today. I'm sure you'll be getting some nice official looking mail soon though letting you know that.

William L. Anderson said...

You know, 10:21 must be one of the prosecutors. Maybe Brian House. Who knows? And, if this guy went to law school and does not know the meaning of "exculpatory," then he wasted his time.

You are right, my friend. It is just beginning. Oh, and given that Arnt and Gregor were running the show and House was greasing the skids for them, how was it that the jury did not go along with you? Are you going to refer to the jurors as morons, too? Just wondering.

I find it interesting that Michael Giglio is busy posting on Facebook that he represented Tonya Craft's ex-husband in their divorce. Here is his post:

Michael Giglio
i have said this over and over.....I REPRESENTED THE EX-HUSBAND...NOT BRIAN HOUSE. apparently, if you say something enough times (no matter how untrue) some people will always believe it to be true. XXXX, i'm not blasting you, just ALL the reports and outright lies that i see on facebook and twitter and the wrcb-3 coverage. brian did nothing wrong in hearing this matter. nothing.

And this man that made this post is also Tonya Craft's ex-brother-in-law that was in practice with House PLUS was in the jury pool for this trial!!!!

Guess he is getting ready for the big CAC fundraiser Friday night! They are going to need to raise lots and lots of cash to pay their legal bills.

You know, it just was not smart for those people to call Dr. Nancy Aldridge a "whore" and a "liar." Not an intelligent thing at all, and she will help make them pay, trust me. I think they are going to rue the day when they hired Laurie Evans.

Anonymous said...

Now the work begins:
1. Tonya needs to get her children back
2. Tonya needs to be remunerated by the school district which fired her when she whould have been put on administrative leave pending outcome of the trial
3. Civl suits against the parents who initiated the false claims need to be pursued
4. Disbarment proceedings against Arnt and Gregor and impeachment for House
5. Detective Deal needs to be fired and held accountable for his actions as does the CPS system in Catoosie.

These are just the first of many things that should be undertaken, However, for tonight, Tonya can have a good night's sleep - probably the first in a log time.

Bill - thank you for bringing this issue to everyone's attention. It is important that injustices be righted. You are truly a hero in this as well.

Good list. And you are right those are all possible consequences.

Somewhere in there needs to be a change in the "system" that amplified this travesty. That is one of the root causes here. There should be mandated Amirault Hearings for cases like this in Georgia and everywhere else. That AND any interviews with children must be conducted in a professional manner, that delivers the truth.

That was some shocking news about the death threats, my guess was it was Lamb when I heard it. When I became aware of the entangled relationships in LMJC, especially Judge Ralph Van Pelt having an attorney Larry Stagg that brings cases to him in public and private ex parte (secret) as his Election Chairman and Treasurer for years, and NEVER revealing to the defendants this fact I too called the FBI.

When an attorney and a judge have such an intimate relationship that it benefits them both in their careers thus affecting their finances it not only appears to go against the Canons set forth by the Judicial Qualification Commission BUT is actually a form of Racketeering. In our case the judge on prosecuting attorney were in this relationship, and when confronted Van pelt recused but left the orders stand he had granted to his friend Stagg in secret. Then the attorney we hired did not reveal that only a few months prior he was on the committee to elect Stagg to a judgeship and he quit and gave back every penny saying that he had to work in this Circuit and we had "poisoned the well" by confronting the judge with a truth and the defendant would never win! Then the guardian ad lidem Giglio recused because of his friendships with all of them! The only one left standing was the prosecuting attorney. When Van Pelt recused he still left a huge electronic memo over the case as viewable at the Court House on the public record computer that said although he was recused EVERYTHING still be sent to him on the case that Jon Bowling Wood now handled! I guess he assumed we could not see that or take a picture of it?

Do you know what the FBI in Dalton told me when I asked them to investigate? They said that they also had a friendship with the judge and could not begin an investigation.

No one believes the insanity unless they have been there in LMJC's Hell. Try filing with the Judicial Qualification Commission. They are understaffed and underpaid and if you are lucky enough, as we are, for them to even investigate it is at least a year.

Mr. Anderson and all other supporters, thank you for all your prayers, blogs, efforts, etc. I apologize that this posting comes so long after the verdict. We nurses have long hours, sometimes and it interferes with living. Ha! I was at work when I got the phone call that the jury had reached a verdict. (So, maybe it wasn't quite within the confines of the rules, however, I made a way to watch the verdict live.) I wept and laughed and my knees grew weaker with each, "Not guilty" that passed. My heart soared and I couldn't hold back my emotions - something pretty uncommon for me, by the way. The phones at work EXPLODED with phone calls coming in from friends and family crying, laughing, shouting - all rejoicing for my precious friend and the prayers that had been answered.

I appreciate and concur fully with what you've said in this blog, Mr. Anderson. The jury succeeded and God showed out majorly today. However, "the system" was a failure before these charges ever came about and only continued to plummet the entire trial. I am thankful to God that the LMJC gained such broad exposure because it will never, ever be able to strong arm and do away with innocent people using nothing but "good old boy" politics again. I've seen it too many times here. And now, maybe the country and the world will listen and help put an end to these tactics.

Thank you, Mr. Anderson, for taking such a vested interest in one woman, in a small rural area and the charges brought against her. Thank you for helping expose the redneck mafia in power here for what they are. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

By the way, in reference to one of my previous posts, I did exactly what was recommended and did contact the State Rep and Senator. No shocker, the Rep ignored me as House and Purdue did when I tried to appeal to them. HOWEVER, I am scheduled to speak with Senator Mullis personally regarding; as he called it; new legislation he would like to introduce next year regarding issues that have arisen due to this trial. He is fully aware that I am a staunch Craft supporter but wishes to hear what I have to say regarding team HAG and my opinions about his ideas for the new legislation. Not saying that it will necessarily GO anywhere but, at least he's going to listen.

And, in closing, I say,"NOT GUILTY!!!!!!! Amen! Team HAG is now defunct! Hallelujah!".

I hope everyone can see that this also can happen to you...I personally saw Mary Wolf prosecute a young father in Barrow County with the same tactics..He has been sent to jail for 25 years...His wife and kids are left destitute. He passed 2 lie detector test (don’t waste your $2500 dollars on each of them because the prosecutor can allow or disallow them to be shown in court and if they don't help her case then she of course will disallow them). The one thing I have learned is that Prosecutors like Mary Wolf don't want to show the truth...They only want to win..They have the whole state of Georgia’s pocketbook to spend while the defendant has to sell everything to hope on getting a smart, good attorney for defend them.. My hat is off to Tonya Craft and her family for going the distance with this...Now if only the prosecutor and Judge can only be held accountable for misrepresentation of Justice...This would really make it worth it...

Sigh. (@Just passing through)

These children did not spontaneously sprout these allegations. It took over full year in therapy (with a mentally challenged counselor) for them to even make an allegation.

One child was questioned 16 times if "anything else" happened and replied "No!".

That same child was reported to have said something did happen, off camera. But no clear record of that statement existed.

These children did not "want to take this teacher down". It was adults that wanted that.

You asked about Tonya's PI earlier. Eric Echols and his wife were inside the courthouse when the verdict was read. So few were able to go into the courtroom, but there were many supporters, including Mr. and Mrs. Echols, waiting just outside the room. They also went on to the party/press conference at Tonya's parents' home.

Lame said...

After all that has been stated in court and in the public forum as to how this developed, I'm surprised that anyone other than someone who walked around with patented Arnt&Goering Brand blinders on. These stories were created as much independently as the republican party spontaneously burst forth--it was a rebound of near simultaneous collapse of the Whig and Freesoil parties that ended up coalescing into one sort of solid party. Read up about the early republican party and its not-altogether-well-fitting factions and you'll get the anecdote.

All Tonya supporters today was a great day. Tomorrow is the day to begin offering an olive branches to prosecution supporters. A lot of people were taken in by the lies of a few, some prosecution supporters falling into line only when threatened with obstruction charges. The jury verdict is an opportunity for prosecution supporters to repent, and we don't want to make ourselves barriers to their redemption. Have a celebration at Choo Choo BBQ and don't even ask what side the manager's mother in law was on.

Don't let crooked prosecutors take your faith, your church, your general sense of good feeling towards your neighbor, and especially not your bbq joint away from you.

Of course some corrections need to be made.

Detective Deal needs to be moved to some less challenging assignment, perhaps auto theft. Whoever supervised him, obviously, has no business supervising detectives and should retreat to a non-supervisory position or resign. Phil Summers, certainly, has proven himself beyond the shadow of a doubt incapable of supervising policemen and should step down tomorrow.

The anthropology BA who fancies herself an MD needs to be kept away from living things, as does the interrogator who ground the false accusations out of the "accusers". Of course their supervisors need to go.

The three stooges need to do 400 years behind bars as they had intended for Tonys. Actually more as it's certain that there are other innocents behind bars they railroaded but successfully. This is where the focus needs to be.

John is right. As one from that area, I realize that BBQ is life itself and eat away!

There needs to be some resignations, demotions, and the life. Also remember that Deal and the police do not have the same immunity as do the prosecutors and judges.

Believe me, there will be lawsuits and plenty of them.

My little group willing to stand up locally is growing every minute. I welcome everyone willing to put in a lot of sweat equity while we organize how we will make change from within. Yes, some people will want instant justice but this is for the long haul. The good old boy network took a blow yesterday so they will pull in the wagons but we are not finished until this system works in the present not the past that included witch hunts such as the one we've all supported. Contact me at kathispray@yahoo.com and help put it together.
On a happier note, my teen son's open house and concert last night showed how much teachers all over this area were frightened by this trial. For most of the last five weeks, school has been a very tense place. Even the kids felt it. Last night? Everyone was smiling, happy, and most of all, jazzed about what the kids did to make the open house a success. You could see how the teachers couldn't stop talking to each other in corners. Don't think they didn't support Tonya quietly. But they had their careers and reputations on the line. With her vindication, they are now able to breath a bit easier and concentrate on their underpaid but very satisfying job of shaping the next generation.

So, today I catch up on a lot of stuff I ignored during the trial. Tomorrow, I start going through all the information I have in hopes of finding a rough way of organizing our first meeting. Hopefully, that will happen in the next week before school lets out for this year.

William, thank you, thank you, thank you for your advocacy and fine reporting!

Would have loved to see the HAGs faces (prosecuters and women accusers). Now they can have the shame bestowed upon them that Tonya has had for the last couple years. I hope these people are ridiculed, prosecuted, put down and destrowed. They are not worthy of the breathe that is used to speak their names. I also hope that the CAC evaluates their staff and their procedures. What good is an organization like this if what they do is fabricate lies and do a half ass job at interviewing children.

As for the children. I am SO sorry that you were put through this. Your parents and the people who supposedly are their to protect you let you down. They made you go through something that you did not have to go through. I pray that you will find peace as the years go forward and that you will remain strong. I am sorry you have parents that thought it would be ok to put you through this web of lies and that you would come out of it unscarred all just to get back at someone who they disliked or went against them. Shame on you parents I hope you live with this sin for the rest of your life.

I second Alan Rock Waterman.
Without your fine reporting, maybe America wouldn't have known about this story.
No wonder the Powers That Be fear the Internet!

@ Dan

Dan, I appreciate your sensitivity however, I'm a bit confused as to what you are saying you are sorry about?

I will be glad to email you or post on this blog site, if Mr. Anderson has no objections, any information I garner in regards to my discussion with Sen. Mullis today.

If anyone knows how to get in touch with Tonya or get a message to her team and family to let them know I will be speaking with the Senator, I would appreciate it. You can contact me privately at destinbound7@yahoo.com. Thank you, again.

The man fabricated evidence!

That's a crime, not some little 'wrist slapping no-no' that would delay your promotion at a job with law enforcement.

House, Gregor and Aren't...you can run but you can't hide. Team Tonya is on your ass!

@Team Tonya,
As it's been said: "No, thank you!" I am a mother of 2 and admire deeply the strength that Tonya has displayed throughout this horrible ordeal. Although heartwrenching at times, Team Tonya has shown Catoosa Co. residents, and people everywhere that there are major flaws in our local system to say the least. And I will never again be so judgemental when a mug flashes across the news screen. I just hate that it came at Tonya and these little girls' expense to say the least. I am still praying that she gets the rest of her heart back, sooner rather than later. There is no doubt that God has a plan for Tonya, and I don't feel it is insignificant either. We are all still rooting for you and always will. No doubt this has made a lasting impression in my life. Praying the hearing goes well. I'm sorry Catoosa County treated Team Tonya so badly. Surely you know most of us don't feel that way. God bless you sweetheart!

It's clear that prosecutors learned nothing from the McMartin Case:

And to continue on my earlier statement, I have seen on here today some who said their children lied hope you weren’t referring to the ones’ who accused, they’re not liars. They were misled and that is the problem. They think this stuff is true. If you were falsely accused as Tonya and I have been, you would do some research and find these things happen ever where. What is the shame, the justice system in some places don’t have a clue how handle these accusation. They believe if someone says it, it must be true. And there job is to do whatever it takes to put you away. They will take your words of truth, and rewrite it to meet their needs. All the while they’ll be saying “were just looking out for the children”. I’m in dire straits here and think god I found this case. I don’t have many to turn to, most have turned on me, for what, nothing but pure Guilty until you prove yourself innocent. When you find yourself charged with these false claims, you’re in shock. You’re scared, you’re a piece of scum that most want to put on a ship to nowhere. All you want to do is scream you didn’t do it. Well you’ll see that leads you nowhere, cause it falls on deaf ears in the justice system. CPS, CAC and places like that, who haven’t been trained properly only see one thing their protecting the children. They might be a great person when they start but once their in the system, they’ll just fall inline with the ones in power.
I’m scared, and I hope when you read this you will take a moment to pause and think, what if it had been me? What would I do? Who would stand with me? I promise you, you wouldn’t be worrying about the town gossip, and where someone’s’ child goes to school. Instead you would be fighting for your life! I wonder everyday what my fate will be or if I’ll ever see my little girl again. I’ve already lost my wife to death and now this. Although I grew up around this town and I don’t know Tonya or Mr. Anderson. Bill thank you for your words here. And Tonya thank you for your courage To fight the system. It gives me the hope I need to remain calm and focus on the task ahead.

Hi Bill! It seems we have another Nifong prosecutor who was out to make a name for himself along with the judge. Unfortunately, this and the Duke non-rape case illustrate that these are not isolated incidents. They are the norm and, like in the Duke case, it was only through the ability of Ms. Craft and her attorneys that she was able to escape. How many others are languishing in jail because they did not have money or lawyers?

Keep up the good work bringing injustices like this light. I can't wait for the followup!

Excellent letter Mr. A! I wonder if she reads your blog or if what you publish gets back to her.

Here's a good Bible verse:
Sarah Bass Henke Proverbs 19:5 "A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who pours out lies will not go free."

Thought it was fitting.

To john above,

I just went through this with my son-in-law...I paid for 2 lie detector test...($2500 each) to prove to me his innocence... Of course the DA would not allow the results in court...He was convicted and given the maditory 25 years in the State of Georgia...Now three months after the trial I finally was alone with my Granddaughter who is now 7...I asked her if her daddy really did what she said he did.. She told me no...I asked her why did she say what she said on the stand...she told me that right before she got on the stand the lady attorney (prosecutor) told her to say these things or her mommy would be taken away to jail and she would never see her again...

On this kind of crime..your are assumed guilty... and you ARE going to Jail.. To find an attorney like the one here is very hard to find and you waste a lot of money (I spent 80K) on false promises, they do anything just to keep you paying..

If this happens to me...I would leave the country to somewhere like Brazil where extradition is difficult.
